BookWild is built by people who actually run adventures. We know the problems because we live them.
How BookWild started
A friend of ours runs an adventure company. He was spending his evenings answering booking calls, chasing emails, and updating spreadsheets. He'd rather have been outside running sessions and delivering courses. He wanted a simpler way to manage his bookings, sessions, instructors, safety and more.
We looked at what was out there. Nothing had the right mix of features and affordability. So we built it.

Phil
Co-founder - Engineering, Design & Product
Software engineer by trade, adventure guide on weekends. Leads mountain biking, coasteering and gorge walking around South Wales. Builds everything you see when you log in.
Been building software professionally for over a decade. TCL, WRT-PRO, FSRT and OFA qualified. Happiest hanging or jumping off some cliffs or on a bike.
Shona
Co-founder - Operations, Sales & Support
Handles operations, sales and customer support. If you get in touch, Shona's probably the first person you'll hear from. She keeps the business running so Phil can keep building.
When she's not onboarding operators, she's in the sea, on a paddleboard, or somewhere in the mountains.
How we run BookWild
Real people, no chatbots
When you get in touch, you hear from Shona or Phil. Not an AI, not a ticket queue, not a chatbot asking if you've tried turning it off and on again.
We're not going anywhere
BookWild is independent, owned by us. We keep keep costs down, and run it profitably. That means we're not going to sell up, disappear, or suddenly change the pricing because someone else told us to.
Built for you, not for everyone
Other platforms focus on large activity centres, visitor attractions, and the "leisure industry." The outdoors is just one of their categories. BookWild is built for outdoor operators, course providers, and equipment rental.
Your voice matters
